Dilaudid
   

Dilaudid also known as Hydromorphone and Dihydromorphinone is a very highly fast acting analgesic drug in the opiate family and class. Dilaudid is typically used to treat moderate to severe pain, and can be used as an anesthetic.

Dilaudid Abuse - Persons who take the Dilaudid prescribed by a Doctor have a very prone to abuse the drug due to its highly fast acting euphoric effect, as well as a quickly forming physical dependence on the body, and high building tolerance lever. Those persons who abuse Dilaudid often find that within a short period of time their tolerance to their prescribed dose has gone up so they begin to take more of the Drug. Individuals who abuse Dilaudid often become addicted to the drug within a short period of time, and may require treatment.

Dilaudid Addiction - Persons who are addicted to Dilaudid continue to use the drug despite the negative consequences they experience within their life. Because Dilaudid has a very fast acting highly potent euphoric effect, and a quickly forming physical dependence on the body, persons can become addicted to the drug in a very short period of time. Users of the drug say it produces an immediate euphoric and calming sense of relief and report a very intoxicating feeling. While in treatment individuals learn coping skills, and life skills needed to remain abstinent from the drug. Group counseling, individual therapy, and 12 step recovery are just a few of the tools used in a Dilaudid Treatment center.

Dilaudid Rehab - Dilaudid Rehab Centers specialize in the Treatment of Dilaudid addiction. Persons who have completed a Dilaudid Detox are highly encouraged to enter a Dilaudid rehab to relearn social skills, and life coping skills. While in Rehab persons attend group therapy, and individual counseling and attend 12 step meetings. Persons who complete a Dilaudid addiction rehab center have a greater chance for long term abstinence than those who do not.
