Hydrocodone
- Hydrocodone also known as Dihydrocodeinone is
a synthetic opiate made up of Codone and Thebaine.
It is commonly used and prescribed for acute pain,
and chronic cough. The drug comes in a liquid,
or tablet form.
Hydrocodone Abuse – Those
persons who abuse Hydrocodone are very likely
to become addicted to the drug due to its narcotic
traits, and physical forming dependence on the
body. Users of the drug report a very sedative,
and relaxed euphoric feeling. Hydrocodone abuse
often times leads to Hydrocodone addiction within
a short period of time.
Hydrocodone Addiction –
Hydrocodone addiction
occurs when a person can’t stop using the
drug despite the negative consequences they experience
as a result. Hydrocodone is very physically addicting
to the body, and persons who use the drug build
a tolerance and must use more to feel the effects.
