PCP
– PCP is a chemical compound of Phenylcycloexyl
Piperidine that is commonly referred to as angel
dust or sherm. It has been formerly used as an
anesthetic that gives off nerotoxic, and hallucinogenic
effects. PCP is a very dangerous drug, and has
lead to the cause of many crimes, even deaths.
PCP Abuse – Persons who
use PCP often times end up abusing the drug because
of its strong hallucinogenic traits, as well as
psychological addicting patterns. PCP is not safe
to use in any form. Users of the drug report increased
strength, and vivid hallucinations.

overcome barriers, challenges and issues through
the use on primary therapy, individual and group

Rehab centers help persons addicted to PCP
learn new coping and life skills needed to remain
abstinent from the drug. In addiction many centers
may have a dual diagnosis component so that individuals
can balance out on their medication, or find the
right medication stemming from their PCP abuse.
Those persons who complete a PCP rehab center
have a much higher rate of attaining long term
recovery than those who do not.
