Vicodin
   

Vicodin – Vicodin is a combination of Hydrocodone, and Parecetomal. The drug is in the opiate family of narcotics, and is typically prescribes to treat mild to moderate pain. Users of the drug report a very relaxed state of mind and mild euphoric sensation.

Vicodin Abuse. Those persons who are prescribed Vicodin often times become addicted to the drug due to the tolerance that their bodies build up to it. Because of this tolerance many individuals may take more than the prescribed dose thus starting the cycle of Vicodin abuse.

Vicodin addiction – Vicodin Addiction occurs when a person can’t stop using the drug despite the negative consequences it has on their life. Because Vicodin is the opiate family of drugs, it is very habit forming, and persons can become addicted to it within a very short period of time. Those persons that are addicted to Vicodin may need to enter a Vicodin Detox center due to the physical dependence it forms on the body.

While in a Vicodin treatment center persons learn new coping skills, and life skills that help them overcome personal obstacle and barriers they may face. Those individuals that complete a Vicodin treatment center have a much higher chance of remaining abstinent from the drug than those who do not.

Vicodin RehabVicodin Rehab centers focus specifically on those persons who are addicted to Vicodin, or who abuse the drug. Many times persons who have been abusing Vicodin need to relearn basic social and life skills. Through individual counseling, and group therapy individuals learn these skills that are need to remain abstinent from the drug and achieve long term recovery.
