Members at High Standards Recovery will be active participants in a Twelve Step recovery program. High Standards Recovery provides daily group meetings with active participation in recovery discussions and life skills, as well as strength and self-esteem building exercises. You will play a vital role in determining your care with us and we carefully listen to each question and concern and take into consideration all factors presented when writing a treatment plan for you. It is our goal to help all of our clients become better people and prepare them for independent living. It doesn't matter if you start out in our Sober Living Facility or our After Care program the goal remains the same.

Often time's people coming from a 30-60 day inpatient drug treatment (This is not a requirement) or alcohol rehab program or those persons who have a chronic relapse history may require an additional therapeutic component. Understanding this dilemma and need High Standards Recovery has put in place a proven and highly successful Intensive outpatient program in which persons can enjoy the benefit of structured sober living with additional support in place such as group therapy, and individual counseling. High Standards Recovery offers case management, as we understand the needs to begin clearing up outside stressors such as legal issues, relationship problems, and unpaid debts, along with many others. Our case manager meets with each member consistently to assure the individual's goals are being met in life, as well as in recovery. High Standards Recovery has every outside resource needed, and is proactive in scheduling necessary appointments and provides transportation as needed. As I am sure you have noticed by now High Standards Recovery supersedes the standard norm of traditional Sober Living in Arizona.

Those persons that enter our structured sober living facility can expect to learn to balance the life between everyday living, work, and recovery. Our caring staff has plenty of experience in this area, and we help our clients adapt to everyday life. In addition we make sure each person reaches their goals and maintains their treatment plan.

High Standards Recovery also understands that most people afflicted with Alcoholism and Drug Addiction suffer from co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and depression. This awareness is exactly why we have a consulting psychiatrist ready to see our clients for psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and monitoring progress. High Standards Recovery staff members are aware of any medication changes and new diagnosis. Clients are expected to fill out a release of information form that allows our staff to communicate with the doctor.

With Our Members following their schedule and maintaining the integrity of the High Standards Recovery Program their success is guaranteed.

Members may schedule at least one sober activity per week with other members of the recovery community but if they desire more time out this will be available to them as well. You will also be given a membership to a state of the art gym equipped with an Olympic size swimming pool, free weights and machine equipment.

Members may take part in monthly house excursions that include hiking, camping, outdoor BBQs, ATV riding and snowboarding, as well as trips to nearby locations such as The Grand Canyon, Sedona, and more.

Our housing is a clean, organized home, where you will learn valuable life skills and participate in team-building exercises.
